All I want for Christmas… is… GLUTES.

If I were trying to grow my glutes in 2025 here is what I would do.

One of the questions I get asked often, as a certified fitness professional, is, “How can I grow my glutes?”

Usually, the first thing I say is, you need to eat more food.

Mostly because the people asking me this question are women and I can confidently say that most women are not eating enough to gain muscle and therefore not eating enough protein. Which, is how your grow your glutes! Gaining muscle!!

5 Ways to Grow Your Glutes

  1. I would program two leg days a week for a 8 – 12 week strength program, which would include HEAVY compound lifts such as: barbell back squats, barbell Romanian deadlifts, hack squats, pendulum squat, weighted step ups, hip thrusts, weight lunges, etc.
  2. I would eat MORE food, intentionally. I would dial in my calories into a daily surplus (eating more than what I burn each day) and eat about 1.5 – 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight.
  3. I would make sure I drink a lot of water. At least more than half my body weight in ounces every day.
  4. I would also make sure I scheduled at least seven hours of sleep a night.
  5. And finally, I would take creatine monohydrate, micronized and whey protein supplements everyday to help me grow my glute muscles.
